The Kids work is run by the amazing Dibs Roberts and caters for kids in Years 1 to 6 (aged 6-11). There is a separate group called Rescuers which caters for 2-5 year olds. Each week there is a themed age specific activity involving video, craft, games and other resources. The emphasis is on having fun and learning about Jesus.
"If we don't want our kids to grow up with the bizzare idea that God is boring we need to make church fun as well as encouraging them to experience God. We pray that our kids are learning things that will stand them in good stead for the rest of their lives."
In the past the kids have looked at Jesus' miracles, the parables, bibilical characters in Genesis, being good friends, the life of insects....
